The little brother

We have all sorts of names we call Reid. Sierra also calls him these same names, and has even made up some of her own. It is precious!!

I love to hear Sierra say "it's ok, Sweet Boy, Mommy just went to the potty. She'll be riiight back!" or "Lean back, Bubbers".

Reid's other names:
Sweet Boy
Bubbs
Bubbers
Little Man
Reidy or Reidy Reid (Sierra made those up)
Duder (in honor of our friend John, the original Duder)

Here are some blurry pictures of the sweet boy

Friend of bears

Sierra has always loved bears - well, the stuffed animal ones; she can't decide if the real ones are cute or scary.

She is currently napping with a very large "big Goo bear" in her crib. And she insisted on laying her head on his belly - she fell asleep this way. Its adorable, but I fear she may have a crick in her neck when she wakes!

left, right, left...

Reid is getting better and closer to walking on his own every day!!

He will now walk while holding only one of my hands instead of two! And it's precious because his other hand goes straight out to the side for balance! He's still doing a bit of the straight leg walking, but once he figures out how to bend those knees, he'll be off...

Here he is behind the little stroller (yes, also his sister's idea)

Play buddies

they are going to have so much fun growing up together! I pray they are best friends!!!

Here are some recent shots capturing their play times ... all of them were Sierra's ideas. They each pushed a walker around the "track" in our house for probably 20 minutes, "racing"! So many giggles!

Sleeping twins

this is rare, but I caught them sleeping the exact same way at the same time one night!

oh the fun of video monitors :)

holding

Sierra wants to hold Reid all the time right now. It's really sweet... but Reid only likes it for 3 seconds and then wants to be set free. That makes Sierra squeeze tighter, making Reid complain louder... you get the picture. Sweet intentions turn to sibling battles :)

She also keeps saying "when I get bigger and bigger, then I'll be a grown-up...and then I can pick up Reid!"

Water is so fun

playing with the water table at Poppa and Lala's house... and having a blast!

Notice that the red shovel is in Reid's hand in every picture?! He had a death grip on it all afternoon, even long after coming back inside to play
