the funniest things. That's a great part about this stage!
Me, at bedtime: Can I have a hug?!
S: No, not today, dear. It's ok Mommy, Maybe after breakfast!
-------------
Me, while Sierra was "tucking me in to bed": Can you sing me a song?
S: No, I can't. Not today.
Me: Why not?
S: because songs are for kids.
-----------
Driving down a country road,
Sierra says "Wow, it's so beautiful!! Why is everything so green?" (suburbian city girl)
-----------
"wooow! New puzzles are super cool!"
-----------
"look, the sun is having a sunset!"
-----------
talking to her kitty, in her stern voice "Kitty, you are not listening. I am NOT happy with you. I am sad with you."
-----------
"When I get taller and taller, then I'll be a grownup and then I can hold Reid!"

Nebo
For Sierra's 2nd birthday (in October), we got her a pet fish. She got to choose which Beta she wanted and which plant for the tank.
The hard part was naming it. She still didn't quite get the concept of naming something. So we suggested "Nemo" and she said "yes! Nebo!!"
6 months later, he's still somehow alive... meet Nebo...

Fort cave
...and tunnel
Daddy and the kids had a blast making and playing in this fort! The tunnel was the most fun and they both kept going through it over and over!
I LOVED seeing them play so well together!!! It was a sweet glimpse into what their sibling play will be like, as Reid gets older. Sierra kept trying to get him back in the fort by putting his toys inside and saying "baby Reeeeeeid!!!! Your toys are in here!! Come on REEEEID!!! Come inside!!"
When he would crawl in, she just giggled and laughed. It was so cute. They'd follow eachother in the tunnel, then out, then in again...over and over. Even Daddy crawled in there!
What a fun Daddy!!
(sorry for all the blurry pics, but they were just too fast!)

Toddler words
Sierra has been talking since she was 10 months old... and literally hasn't stopped. She amazes me daily with her near perfect grammar, vocabulary and sayings.
...but she's still only 2...
These are my favorite words of hers that she still doesn't say quite right:
* hippo-mo-potamus
* it popped-ed
* g-raffe
*

iColoring
Sierra loves playing with my iPhone and mastered it long ago.
She loves to look through pictures, watch videos Ive taken, play matching games, watch Dora, do puzzles, play Alphabet games... and "color".
I guess this is part of the i___ generation.
I often find her work saved to my photo album. Here's what I just found :)
