Sierra has always been a talker, but somehow she seems to have stepped it up a level. She literally is talking EVERY second that she is awake...and even when she's supposed to be sleeping!
...she is currently in her room (not in her bed taking a nap, like she should be), sitting on the floor reading book after book after book to all of her animals. first she lined them all up in her bed and was "teaching" them. she kept saying "ok, today we are going to learn about...puppies." And then I saw her pretending to pass things out to each animal. She kept rearranging them and showing them more things. She is sitting in a spot where I can't see her in the monitor anymore, but oh, I can still hear her! She stops talking only to take a breath...and then keeps going. Now she's scolding someone. Haha! She's hilarious. Ok, now she's singing to them. I wish I could record this :)
While I really wish she was napping, I love to listen to her play by herself...and she IS following the rule - do not come out of your room until Mommy gets you at the end of nap time. At least she's staying in her room.
After staying with my parents for a few days with the kids, my Dad made the comment "I don't think a single thought passes through her mind that she doesn't say out loud."....SO TRUE!
I love my talkative, social, hilarious, sweet, spirited little girl!!!

"yuh you"
Reid has started saying "yuh you" after we say "I love you". It makes me smile so big, every single time. And then he smiles too.

Rain!
We are so thankful for rain!
...and someone was pretty excited to break out her umbrella, after so long!

the spoon
I have a love-hate feeling about this stage of learning to self feed with a spoon...it means more freedom for me to eat my own meal instead of feeding others, but it also means a HUGE mess!!
Reid , on the other hand is loving it! And is quite proud of himself!

Shoes
Reid is in that stage where he's fascinated with "shew shew shew shew" (I spared you, but in reality he says it like 20 times in a row).
He will take a big shoe over to a wall or furniture so he can hold on to something while he stands and tries to get his foot in. ...then he tries to walk. The smile on his face is always priceless!

The 3 year old class!!
Sierra started her Mother's Day Out/preschool today and she is in the 3 year old class!!! That just sounds too old!
She did GREAT!!! She was sooo excited the last few days just talking about it and walked right in as soon as her new teacher opened the door. She sat down, opened up a book and never looked back!
As I was thanking God for her, her school, teachers, how much she's grown, etc, the tears started flowing. I am so blessed and she is such a blessing in my life. I just can't believe how fast she's growing up.
We are SO proud of her!!!
